My name is Willy Sudiarto Raharjo, 25 years old guy from Jogja, Indonesia. I was born at 28th of April 1983. My zodiac is taurus. My hobbies are basketball, which i don't usually played anymore, reading books, especially books which is related to computer programming, mostly web programming, such as ASP, PHP, and Java, and database, such as MySQL, Oracle, and many more. I also like to communicate with my friends via email or instant messaging application, such as Yahoo Messenger or MSN Messenger. I have several book which i thought it was a good start for me to start learning programming. Some of them are in English, and the others are in Indonesian. I also likes to read IT news via RSS feed. It's an efficient way to get updated with many event occured around the world.
I've finished my study at Duta Wacana Christian University, majoring Computer Science at June 2005 and i was working as a software engineering at QnAp Asia starting from October 2005 until April 2007. Now, i'm preparing myself to continue with my study at UGM and also becaming a lecturer in UKDW. In my spare time, i have wrote some articles which i wrote and it has been published at PCPlus, a biweekly computer magazine. Mostly it was talking about GNU/Linux, a great operating system created by Linus Torvalds and OpenSource Project, initiated by Richard M. Stallman of Free Software Foundation. I'm starting to write articles for InfoLinux, monthly magazine that discuss about GNU/Linux. I hope those articles can be helpful and useful for everyone who read it. I also write several small article which was based on my experience playing with Slackware which can be seen in my writings section
I'm also working as a developer for OpenOffice.org's Documentation Translation Project and Indonesian Native Lang Project. I'm also a coordinator for Indonesian Mandriva Linux Localization Project, but it's not a part time or full time job, it was a voluntary job for the OpenSource Project. I love using OpenSource software, just like GNU/Linux (in fact, i'm using Slackware-Current dual boot with Windows XP for my desktop PC and laptop), OpenOffice.org, and other OpenSource software. I also contribute to some of the project as a translator for their documentation, like eGroupware, a web-based groupware application, that was built with PHP-MySQL.
I have a cute girl friend and she is as old as i do, in fact, our birth date is only 3 days different. She is majoring economic management in the same campus as i do. We met via mIRC, a popular IRC Client on Windows platform. From that day, i had a commitment that i had to take care of her if she accept me as her boy friend and she did. She accepted me at 1st of July 2001 at Santo Antonius Kotabaru Church. It was a great time for me, because i have waited for her for over a year to gave me an answer, but finally, she made a great decision.
